South Kerry Camera Club Photo Shoot 14-07-2011

The camera club met on the 14th July 2011 at St Finans Beach to start the evening by photographing the surf, and after moved on to Port Magee where the theme was to take evening reflections in the calm waters of the port. the following photos are my photos of that evening.

7:30 Not much happening yet, a few surfers in.

Light now falling towards the blue hour, better for photos.

A few rollers starting to come in, with Skelligs behind.

The wind lifts the spray from the waves, making for nice photos.

Uuumm I like this one myself!!

Club members scattered about the beach, each trying to
take a different photo.

The Skelligs between the rocks.

I was asked to take the group photo for the evening, got caught out,
had never used my timer delay, so had to find it in the menu,
some photographer.

A nice 18mm wide angle.

Heron waiting for a fish.

The time is now right for early reflections.

Some deviation from reflections, but it had to be done!!

As the evening progresses the reflections are showing better.

Now darkness has fallen the reflections from the
lights make for good photos.

All photos Pentax K10d 18-55mm & 28-200mm lenses.
