SOUTH KERRY CAMERA CLUB VISIT TO THE BLOW HOLE CAHERSIVEEN

This evening the 'South Kerry Camera Club' visited the Blow hole near Cahersiveen. This huge hole in the cliff has been eroded by constant waves, that in storm conditions, shoot water high in the air! The drop to the sea must be around 250Ft, so walking near its sloping edges is not recommended.
The blow hole is situated an hours walk from the main road, across rock strewn fields, and the walk is a serious undertaking, especially for an old fart like me, but the cliff views are amazing as well as the blow hole when you eventually get there!

Wooo!!! some hole in the ground!!

Is that a face too??

Another face, or is it just me?

An evening for a grad filter, must get one!

Another face in the rocks!

Took this shot and the next to give the size of the blow hole some perspective!!

I must say I kept seeing faces everywhere!!

Hes got a big nose!

I still see faces in these rocks?

I guess this is a fairy ring???

The spec of red below on the rocks is Michael Herrmann, our intrepid Professional, wrisking life and limb again!
