WATERVILLE & MY PHOTOSHOP COURSE

This evening, 18-04-2012, was the start of my Photoshop course being given by Professional Photographer Michael Herrmann at Tech Amergin, Waterville. The course kicked off with the Raw editor in Photoshop CS5, and required that we had some Raw files to work with. I had taken some photos during my morning dog walk, but had managed to leave my memory stick at home, so as I had my camera kit with me, I hit the beach in Waterville, just prior to the course starting, to take some more Raw files. I fitted my camera with my newly acquired Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 and took the following photos. I had to purposely underexpose them so that I could fix them in the Raw editor during the course. I hope you like the final results!

LOWER CROMANE & KILLARNEY NATIONAL PARK 15-04-2012

On a beautiful day with bright blue sunny skies, my morning dog walk in Lower Cromane was very relaxing for a change, with no worry of having to dodge showers, I hope my introduction photos reflect this! After returning home I asked my wife if she wanted to go out for a drive, she ok'd that, so I loaded up, wife, dog, camera, and me, and headed for Killarney National Park for more walks and photos. The following are my photos from, Lower Cromane in the morning, and Killarney Park in the afternoon, I hope you enjoy them.

LOWER CROMANE:

The extra calm water was great for reflections this morning.

Beauty cooling down!

Strange how a waterline is shown in between the reflection of Slieve Mish! this is as shot and not Photo shopped!

Looking towards Glenbeigh!

Beauty with her stick, she knows if she brings home a stick for Irene, she gets some ham!
