ST PATRICK'S SUNSET AT CROMANE BAY, CO KERRY

Sitting eating my evening meal, I noticed the sky was taking on some beautiful colours, so after gulping down my dinner, (uumm here comes the resulting indigestion), serves me right, I grabbed my camera, and headed for Lower Cromane beach car park, just below Jacks, and captured the following photos. To start with I set, Aperture priority, ISO 200, F9.5, and used std multi-point metering. Using these setting the first range of photos were taken, the final more silhouette photos were shot by changing the metering to spot, and metering directly into the sun.

I think the results are breathtaking, not blowing my photography ability whistle, but more the beautiful skies that just needed taking!

Cromane bay Co Kerry, looking at Inch towards Dingle!

Camera turned more Southerly taking in both Inch strand and Glenbeigh!

Westerly photo towards Slieve Mish.

More Northerly, towards Slieve Mish.

As first shot but sun now lower and clouds darker.

Zoomed in towards Glenbeigh.

Leaving on a Jet Plane- heading for the States.

Lots of Yellow/Red build in the sky as sun falls.

A northerly shot towards Castlemain Harbour, away from the sun.

THE NEXT FIVE PHOTOS USED SPOT METERING ON THE SUN TO CREATE A SILHOUETTE EFFECT!

All photos Pentax K5 Pentax 28-200mm ISO200, F9.5, Std and spot metering.
