Friday 7 October 2011

The South Kerry camera Club met at Ballinskelligs Beach on the evening of 06/10/11. The task for the evening, was to take photos during the Blue hour, and also to take photos in complete darkness with only the illumination supplied by torchlight. The following photos are my efforts.
BLUE HOUR DEFINITION- The first and last hour of sunrise or sunset.
The crew of members who turned up on a cold windy night, don't let this photo fool you, it was actually quite dark when I took this shot. Oh the joys of modern DSLR cameras!

This and the next thirteen photos were taken during the blue hour!

The moon was high in the sky

The first of the tower shots with torch illumination from the beach.

A member took the torch over to the tower, and went inside to create the lights on effects on the next series of photos.
