LOWER CROMANE DOG WALK 02-01-2012

Today's dog walk took me to Lower Cromane, the skies were very overcast, with impending showers. The mountains were showing the snow caps bought about by last nights heavy hail storms, so my main aim was to take photos of the mountains. A few trawlers were operating in the bay, trawling for muscles. By the time Beauty and me had reached the point, two of the trawlers were already nosed onto the beach for unloading. My photos today reflect the above observations, with a few bird shots thrown in as well.

During a short break in the clouds, the sun shines through and catches the Trawler perfectly.

Unloading 1 Ton Bags!

Because of the rejection of planning for a pier, trawlers have to nose onto the beach, and tractors with trailers have to back alongside when offloading the 1Ton bags.
