On this beautiful sunny mornings dog walk in lower Cromane, I decided the light was bright enough to install my Sigma 500mm lens to my K5, this is the first time I have used the lens on this camera, so it would be a good experience! I first set the camera to 'TV', (Shutter priority), and adjusted the speed to 500sec, manual focus, thinking I would concentrate on birds, but as there were very few around, I stayed with this setting to take most of the photos, then finally changed to the 'SV' mode, (Sensitivity) where I set the sensitivity to ISO 1600, this kept the shutter speed high, and also enabled the lens to auto-focus.
