Skies & Sunsets

TONIGHT'S (13-06-11) SKY OVER SLIEVE MISH MOUNTAIN RANGE

I decided to photograph tonight's sky using auto white balance and tungsten white balance, the following 12 photos are the results.

LAST NIGHT SUNSET WATERVILLE & DINGLE BAY

CROMANE SKIES 04-06-2011.

The following sixteen photos show the changing sky during sunset over Cromane bay this evening. These photos only span a twelve minute period in time, but the clouds, fanned by the high winds, were moving so fast, that the sky was changing rapidly. The light streaking through the clouds made for good photos, so leaning out of my upstairs bedroom window, I shot these photos. The last photo shows the cloud over a section of the Slieve Miss mountains after sunset.
Tricky exposures with the hot spots in the sky, but managed not to blow highlights, with only a minor recovery need in Photoshop.
