Birds

STILL EXPERIMENTING WITH MY 2 X TELE CONVERTER.
More photos from my bird table, still struggling with focus at this extreme focal length, the depth of field is almost zero!

A pair of green finches

Three green finches, overrun with them!

Green finches and a couple of great tits, Ummm, must cut my grass! the out of focus blotches are actually daisies

BIRDS FROM THE GARDEN AGAIN.

My first shot with my new 2 x Tele Converter, coupled with a 55-300mm lens, set at 300mm, making it 600mm, but because of the crop factor of a DSLR, is actually 900mm. Focus is manual, wind blowing a gale, so bird feeder was moving all over the place, camera set to shutter priority, 1000sec at f 5.6 ISO100
