A beautiful morning, with bright sun, and not a breath of wind for my usual dog walk in Lower Cromane. I managed to capture some beautiful scenery, with a rare capture of our resident white Egret. As the water was so calm, my dog decided to take a bath, and then went mad running in and out of the sea, splashing water everywhere! The following photos are my record. I was also experimenting with rapid, point, focus and shoot after curing a release lock-up problem that I have been suffering for some time, it turned out to be caused bu a camera setting, buried within the vast menu!

The elusive White Egret! I have been trying to catch this in flight, but my focus lock-up problems prevented me until now. |

The White Egret landing, only had my 200mm lens on so couldn't bet a closer shot of this very timid bird. |
