SUNDAY MORNING & SNOW!!!

Woke up this morning to snow on the mountain tops, more snow on the Reeks than Slieve Mish, but enough for some good photo opportunities of Mish! The first series of my photos today were taken whilst walking my dog on Lower Cromane, and show snow on Slieve Mish, as well as some boat and bird shots thrown in along the way.  The second series were taken, 11:30am  on, when taking my wife, dog and Pentax out for a Sunday drive, on a day when it was better to be inside the car than out, even though the sun was shining bright, it was bitter cold. Our drive today started from Killorglin towards Caragh Lake, I started taking my photos of the Reeks with snow! on route.  On the way around Caragh lake I had the opportunity to take many photos of the Reeks, but couldn't resist a few of the beautiful lake area. We continued on to the Climbers Inn, then turned right towards Kenmare via Ballaghbeama Gap, taking photos along the way. Phew!!! it was cold at the Gap today, the wind was cutting through the gap, but we sat in the car there to eat our picnic. After lunch we headed towards Sneem, where I stopped for a few photos, then it was the road home via, Derrynane Beach, Waterville, Cahersiveen, and on to Cromane. I hope you enjoy the photos I took along the way?
