After last nights thunderstorm, this evening was a total contrast, with another beautiful sunset over Cromane Bay. I finished work in my workshop today at 4:30, as I spotted a nice colourful sky building, so I grabbed my camera and headed for Lower Cromane. The following photos are those captured by me during a 1 hour period, the fantastic colours in these sky photos, are a joy to behold!!
My first photo, the sun is just behind the cloud. |
The bay was so calm, with no wind, and the tide just turning. |
A few degrees Northerly from the setting sun, and totally different colours make for a striking photo. |
A few more degrees North, looking at Slieve Mish mountains. |
Back to the setting sun, still hiding behind cloud. |
Sun just peeping below the cloud. |
Hey! there it is now we have a double sun with its reflection in the water. |
At 18mm full wide angle. |
18mm again swinging more southerly. |
18mm towards Glenbeigh. |
Zoomed in to 50mm |
Breaking the two thirds rule, but I wanted the cloud bank in. |
Looking more easterly, towards MacGillycuddy Reeks, nice colour in the clouds. |
Back towards Glenbeigh, the sun has now gone. |
Backed out to 18mm again. |
I saw this Heron fishing in the late sun, but he was too far away to get detail, even for my 500mm |
Below Jacks, the flooded area behind the shingle bank |
Another view below Jacks! |
My final photo, and time for my spuds! |
