PADDY'S 80TH BIRTHDAY

Paddy O'Callaghan celebrated his 80th Birthday with a meal at Jacks in Cromane accompanied by about fifty of his closest friends.
The event, organised by Sean, (one of Paddy & Rita's three sons), was well received by all of the friends attending. A few of Paddy's old pals related stories of his past escapades, and his very vast history, causing plenty of laughter.
Paddy is a very proud, gentle and quiet man who has done so much for Irish cycling over the years,  his efforts raising thousands for charities. Although my wife and I have only known the family for the eight years plus that I have lived in Cromane, they have become very close and respected friends, and Paddy has helped me with all sorts of small parts from his vast collection of parts over the years.

The following photos are those taken by me during the day!
